I forced myself to overcome my anxiety and accepted the road banner invitation for hot yoga. I am really glad I did. A chronic sore back and un-stretched muscles and joints had made simple movements painful. I had to try something. Hot Yoga instructor/owner Rob Iorio was welcoming and insistent that I could do this. He even assured me I would find relief after just five or six hot yoga sessions. Incredibly, I did. The breathing and the poses are teaching my reluctant body a new way to function. Mastering yoga is a continuing process, but the physical and mental rewards after just ten weeks of 3-4 times a week have sold me on making yoga practice a part of my life.
